“Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...

“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Nessuna reception all arrivo, solo un ragazzo che serviva al pub (molto gentile e disponibile). Le camere sono sopra il locale, si accede da una scala stretta e lurida, con la moquette inguardabile. Stessa moquette anche in camera, super sporca. La camera piccolissima, non passava nemmeno la valigia tra il letto e il muro. Se sei allergico alla polvere è la fine…persino l’abat-jour piena di polvere. Le finestre belle grandi e luminose ma con i vetri riparati. La sera il locale chiude presto,...

“Not far from the railway station (a nice 15 minute walk), and the pedestrian area ( 5 minutes) very kind and always available staff. They assigned me a doble room even though i was alone. Right below the hotel there is the stop for the 700 bus with wich i went to Brighton. I would happily return to this hotel.”

“My second stay here and it surpassed the high bar set by my previous stay. Got checked in by the manager who had just started there. I got a really nice room with a very high finish in décor which instantly put me in a relaxed mood. After finishing my admin, I went on the same 1 hour walk using the same route which takes me through the town centre. It is such a lovely town to walk around. The shower was amazing and allowed me to settle in for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was so much better...

“Lo consiglio. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico difetto è stato il check in lento e una strana procedura per cui ti addebitano 20 sterline all’arrivo sulla tua carta di credito nel caso consumassi qualcosa (ma in realtà non c’è nemmeno il minibar). Poi con un’altra strana procedura te le riaddebitano al check out ma non ti danno una ricevuta del riaddebito. ”
