“I read the reviews after booking and to be honest I was not expecting much, but it was lovely. Room spacious and clean, bathroom clean and well stocked. Lots of tea and coffee in room, along with biscuits. Are in the hotel, excellent hot food!!”

“We loved the relaxed beautiful interior of the Inn. The staff were so kind, friendly polite. I would like to thank a Caroline who asked the kitchen to put 2 Sunday rost aside for us and as she left at the end of her shift on reception came into the sitting to tell us she had made sure we would have a rosy dinner that evening ”

“This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”
