“We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Everywhere in the hotel was spotless and the decor was up to date. Only slight quibble was the shower over the bath which was dated but produced hot water. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection was good with English breakfast cooked well. The lounge was a lovely room to have a drin as it overlooked the river. I would definitely recommend this independently run hotel ”

“Vicino al ponte sul fiume, potrete raggiungere il centro storico in un attimo e vedere cosi' il Duomo e le Shambles, ovvero l'antico mercato. York non mantiene gli aspetti medievali che promette ma potrete vedere la sua principale attrazione, cioe' il suo forte ricollegabile ai Vikinghi e alla storia degli York in genere. Tutto questo a due passi dall'albergo”

“The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand. ”

“Staff were very helpful especially carrying our bags to and from our room. The room was very clean and the bed was soft and extremely comfortable. The room was in the basement and there are steps but they are broken up not continuous so weren’t too problematic for some one with slight mobility issues. The music and noise from the bar ended at 11pm and we didn’t experience any noise from outside or other guests. ”

“Hotel bellino, ma non un 5 stelle... Il tappeto del bagno macchiato e il vetro della doccia nero nei bordi e, sempre in bagno, odore di umido. Camera molto piccola ma arredata molto bene e letto comodo. Colazione valida e buona. ”

“Staff were respectful on arrival and acknowledged when we came even though they were busy cleaning was a bonus to have early check in and the room theme was gorgeous ! it was unique however played in well to the history of york Room was clean and amazing central location. Adored the four poster bed ”

“The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough ”
