“Picked the location partly due to having a pool for 3 kids. The sign says “closed for cleaning”. So you would think it’s closed for cleaning. The kids got up the next day and put their suits on before breakfast- sign still up. The front desk says the ceiling fell down and it is out for a couple of months. “I understand the need for places like this. My wife and I booked a room as it was the only place in Waterville under like $300. I was still disappointed with it. I am by no means hard to please but we decided to drive the hour and a half home after a concert versus staying here. Some paint and general care would go a long way at a place like this. We stayed in our room for about 5 minutes. It was dirty, footsteps above us were extremely loud, and it was just very depressing.”
