The best thing about this "resort" is the bar staff. They were great and made food that was good. The room was comparable to a Motel 6. There was one restaurant and it was mediocre at best. A couple of nights, the food was edible while the remaining evenings, we just ate salads. The same restaurant does breakfast too and it was OK for breakfast. The girl at the front desk was rude and 2 members of our party of 10 were on the other end of the property. Apparently there was a room to move us to with the rest of the group, but the front desk didn't let us know. The beach was average. The activity staff was available to help with kayaks, snorkels, or putt putt equipment. The pool was really clean and the only hot tub was hot, then cold as there were apparently issues with temperature control. Overall, your trip is what you make it, so we enjoyed ourselves.

3rd time visiting and I can't wait to go back. The staff really make you feel welcome here. I don't mind the Italian restaurant is closed, I preferred the food at the buffet. The people working the breakfast and dinner shifts are the best! Carla, Devenica and more who I'm sorry I didn't get your names! Dinner was always so good. In the mornings I was always greeted with a "good morning" & bacon, eggs, fruits & more. The coffee shop next door always made my coffee perfectly in the morning! Mickey at the bar also made great lunch and Gregory, Albena (sp?) and Scott were always working hard to get everyone their drinks. Would probably be a good idea for bartenders to stop taking food orders so the cooks can catch up. Thank you to the cook who came in on their day off to make sure we all got a hot lunch! CB does have paddle boards and kayaks, I highly recommend getting out to see the reef. I've never been on a kayak and I can't swim, although I wanted to get out to see the reef and be surrounded by the Caribbean ocean, and Lalo made this happen! This was the highlight of my stay this time. I know Lalo was only doing his job, but this simple act left me with a wonderful memory! Do not underestimate the Caribbean sun! Bring water shoes. Have slippers for your room and a pair for the deck. CB is located on the far eastern end of St Croix, looking south into the Caribbean. If you don't want to be isolated please rent a car or be ready to pay for taxis.

Here’s a concise summary of the key review points for quick reference: *Misleading “all-inclusive” claim: Food and drinks were unavailable for long periods; no snacks or grab-and-go options at any time. *Limited beverage service: No cocktails available overnight (10 PM–11 AM); coffee shop espresso machine didn’t work. *Unavailable/misrepresented amenities: Fitness center, casino, tennis courts, and mini golf were offsite; daily activities often canceled without notice. *Poor service: Staff were generally unhelpful and unaccommodating, especially when addressing issues. *Housekeeping failures: Room was barely serviced during a 5-day stay despite requests. *Food quality & dietary issues: Limited variety, mostly fried/overcooked food; no substitutions; almost no vegetarian options; buffet items not restocked. *Lack of essentials on-site: No gift shop or place to buy basic necessities like sunscreen or ChapStick. *Transportation inconvenience: No easy access to offsite locations without expensive, resort-scheduled taxis. *Overall impression: Nice rooms, but poor service, lack of transparency, and unmet expectations led to a disappointing stay. *Expedia now tells me they reached out to the resort with no response.

The staff was exceptional and I could not say more about them, otherwise the trip would have really been a disaster.Breakfast buffet was ok, unfortunately the main restaurant was closed due to staffing. They only offered a buffet for dinner every night which was only fair at best.

This resort is on its last leg. Don't go. We had to wait 3 hours for a sandwich. The management doesn't care about proper staffing. The employees were mostly helpful but there is so much they can do. You basically will get what you pay for.

The property is run down. The breakfast selection was poor and the food was mediocre, nothing special. The staff was rude and not helpful in any way. The restaurants at the resort closed early and only had one cook so would get backed up and not take orders. We didn’t eat most days. They didn’t offer shuttles anywhere and we were told to take taxis for things as small as toothpaste. We didn’t have a phone in our room and room service was not available. The ac broke on day 3 and we placed the DND sign on the door and housekeeping still went inside our room and some of our valuables came up missing. The front desk didn’t know anything we asked and even when I pressed for information I was directed to look online for answers. Some of the staff allowed people they knew to bring guests in. One woman brought a group of special needs clients that she was watching for work. So the vibe of the resort shifted to more of an adult daycare facility. Also there is no water sports, only 4 kayaks. I could go on and on. This was a complete disaster. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

When we arrived, we were very disappointed as the main restaurant listed was closed. However, we quickly met the staff who were amazing. If it was not for the staff, the vacation would not have gone so well. The breakfast and food at the outdoor bar was very good. The dinner buffet was not good. The entertainment listed was a no show or not accurate. We had a jeep so could leave. Again the rooms were clean and the price was reasonable except for the inaccuracy of the description.

I chose this hotel to stay at during my stay in St. Croix and was kind of disappointed and wondering why most of the reviews were positive and missing information I’d love to have read when choosing my stay. First off my hotel room was great, the inside of my room was very clean and spacious. The room was renovated and up to date, and had amenities which I loved. The staff was nice over all. I did not love the beach at this hotel. It was full of seaweed and the water looked brown almost. I stayed for a week and didn’t see one person in the water ever. The hotel was quite boring over all so if you are looking for a fun setting, this is not the hotel for you. If you need a very laid back and mean very then maybe this is the place for you. The most annoying part of entire stay was the wifi/cell service, it was not good most of the time and I could not get any calls or internet service at some points. The food was OK but was lacking seasoning and there weren’t a lot of options at the restaurant but the snack bar was not bad. Lastly the location is quite away from everything else so be sure to rent a jeep to get around as taxis can be expensive. It’s also great to explore the island with which is a must when visiting St. Croix.

This place is deceiving and the pictures make it into something it is not. It was all inclusive but that was just drinks and food. Breakfast and most of the food was always great but only if you come in the beginning when it is first put out. Come during the last hour and it is picked over and nothing else is put out and what is left is all there is. The resort or rather hotel because you have to have activities for a resort and at least a gift shop. There is absolutely nothing at this place and you have to make 3 hour reservation for a taxi tongo anywhere. The casino is a joke and only a block walk away but it is up a steep hill and after drinking not fun. I wouldn't ever stay here again and the island itself doesn't have much to offer. We should have gone to St. Thomas. Very disappointed with this trip. They have no watersports and you are trapped at the resort that has no souvenirs... they have nothing but free food and free bottom shelf bar. If you want hideout and not be seen and escape the world this is place because phone and internet is not the best either. If you do go there rent a car and I hope you know how to drive because they drive on the left and the speed limit the way people drive is just a suggestion and watch those potholes because they will take your vehicle out. Seriously don"t waste your money unless all you want is a nice view and to sit in your hotel room because you can literally do that on any nice beach anywhere!
This all there is to do... just sit and enjoy the beach and drink.

The pictures of this place are deceiving and the Casino is and a nice uphill walk that when you been drinking all day is horrible. There are no elevators in the hotel and if you would like to go somewhere once you figure out this place sucks you need to make a taxi reservation 3 hours in advanced and charge person not the entire party destination. The food is decent to down right outstanding some days and liquor is less than top shelf like no Patron but other brands plus the Island is pushjng Cruzan Rum. St. Thomas is the real place to go. I suggest gettimg a car if you are a real driver and can deal with driving on the left. Otherwise do not attempt to drive the roads poorly maintained and huge potholes and dangerous and winding roads that only people who can drive should be operating a vehicle. Also, people there have a problem communicating and directly answering questions. For instance when asking car agent why they where offering tire insurance, she never mentioned as I found out later they got crazy pothiles that will take a car out .
