Dirty Property needs improvement

Dirty pool, hair in the shower, leaking toilet all over the floor, cheap linens. Cobwebs, dust and debris. Junk in the yard, patio furniture rusted, snagged my clothes. Large house in a nice neighborhood with potential. Needs a deep cleaning, discard rusted furniture, make sure the pool is cleaned BEFORE guests arrive, not two days after subsequent to at least 10 texts.

Horrible vacation

We arrived to a large but dirty house (windows and screens were filthy, dead roaches inside the house) and a yard that had been cleared, grass cut but with rusty gardening tools and debris piled or laying around the yard. A fountain outside the dining room was full of green water and huge noisy toads and the screen was not staying on the window of this non air conditioned room. The master bedroom was supposed to include a sleeper couch to sleep an additional two persons and it was not a sleeper couch so there was only the bed that sleeps two in this huge room. We were not told not to drink the water from the filtered water dispenser on the fridge and found out with bouts of diarrhea that the cistern water was contaminated and not potable. The cistern in the house ran out of water twice while we were there (8 adults) and we had to wait for water delivery before showering and to flush the toilets. The water was dark brown for a while after water was delivered suggesting the bottom of the cistern was full of dirt. The owner insisted several days after we moved in that we had not paid for the entire stay even though they had refunded me the balance when they agreed to reduce our stay from 28 to 9 days. They threatened that we would get evicted if we did not pay a bill that had not been presented to us until then. I spent two days answering texts and calls about this and paid under duress for “days that they forgot to bill” when the reservation was made 5 months ago! Horrible!!

Above my expectations!

This property worked perfect for us! It had the space we needed in an awesome and central location. Host was super responsive anytime we had a question or issue. It was clean. Wifi was great most of the time. Best in the main living area and all the adults were working a bit while away without issues. I would stay here again. Easy drive to Shoys Beach within the community.

I would stay here A MILLION TIMES

This house was amazing. My group consisted of myself, my husband, 1-18 year old girl, 1-18 year old boy, 1-16 year old boy and 1-15 year old girl. We stayed for 7 nights from March 22-29 of 2022. The house has 2 bedrooms (queen beds) attached to a jack & jill style bathroom that is HUGE. One bedroom with a double bed that has it's own bathroom with a roomy shower. This bedroom opens to the pool patio directly. The master bedroom has a king bed and basically it's own living room inside of it. The master bath is HUGE with an incredible shower and the toilet is separate, which was nice. There are two incredibly big walk through closets in there as well. The house is well built and sound does not travel from one room to the next. The yard is SO huge we didn't even use most of it. All bedrooms have AC that keep them nice and cool. The rest of the house we just opened the numerous doors and turn on the fans. That with the island breeze kept the entire house nice. The washer/dryer are in the garage/carport area and worked great while we were there. But the POOL!!!! It was INCREDIBLE!!! We made so many memories with the kids in the pool and it was great to be able to hop in at any time. The community and house are both gated. The neighborhood was 100% safe. We did visit the nearby beaches, I wouldn't suggest walking unless you like a longer stroll. We had a slight issue with hot water in the master bath and Shanda and the repairman arrived within 20 minutes of me sending her a message. She is the nicest hostess I've ever encountered. I can't say enough great things about this house and hostess. The kitchen is fully furnished, but you will need bring all food and spices. The freezer does have an ice maker which was a HUGE bonus in the heat. I am beyond happy we picked this place to stay.

Deceiving

Our host was great!! But the property was very deceiving, washing machine didn’t work, floors VERY dirty, windows-mirrors hadn’t been cleaned. No hot water in kitchen. Ceiling fans were filthy, skylights in kitchen leaked. DON’T leave any food out, mice everywhere!! Do not recommend!!!

Amazing house

7 adult women shared this house for a week and never felt crowded. We swam in the lovely pool every day. Drove down to the Buccaneer hotel a few times. Christiansted is just a short drive away. Shanda is a delight to work with. Very attentive and quick to respond

Family fun

Location was close to shopping and several beaches nearby. Shonda was so accommodating and answered all questions in a timely manner. She was a pleasure to meet and made all of use feel so welcome.

Great family trip

Really nice house next to a good resort beach, close to stores and downtown, we had 7 people stay and it was. It was not crowded at all pool is awesome, everything was easy ancd very nice.
