“Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.”

“Ho soggiornato al Pecking Mill Inn per solo una notte, poiché di passaggio, e tutto è stato perfetto! Il proprietario ci ha accolti con estrema cordialità nonostante fossero quasi le 10 di sera, una persona deliziosa! Camera pulita, comoda e funzionale, non manca nulla. Il posto è tranquillo e silenzioso, nel mezzo della campagna. La colazione davvero ottima e abbondante! Se dovessi ricapitare da queste parti tornerei sicuramente! ”

“The George is a lovely, old-fashioned kind of hotel in a small village. Check in was a little confused as we missed the sign that said reception but once we found it, it was easy. The room was spacious with a king sized bed, kettle, desk and chair. I was extremely impressed with the breakfast. Tea, coffee, juice, cereal and toast then a cooked choice from the menu. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A lovely stay and we would definitely return.”

“We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night stay. From our welcome to us leaving everything was just perfect. We were visiting family & arrived late the first night so went to the local pub as advised by Joss. Beautiful home cooked steak pie. Slept well & comfortable all 3 nights. “We stayed here for our anniversary. We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. The staff were helpful and happy to help when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area ”
