“Staff were very welcoming and gave us early access to our room. Greatly appreciated, after a very stressful early morning that saw us nearly not make the trip. Awesome location, to town, restaurants and One Stadium. Highly recommend for that. There was a bit of noise from plumbing pipes in other areas - were woken early on our first night due to that. Cool looking place, with a great vibe. ”

“Our stay was for 4 nights. It was nice to have b/f each day. Would have been nice that hosts offered hard boiled eggs and maybe croissants on at least one of our mornings. Coffee was excellent. The room was quite small for this long of duration. We like a hard bed and found this one quite soft. Loved the big windows! Free parking on the side of property and great location for our needs. ”

“The hotel is located on the grounds of the former University of Canterbury campus in Christchurch, which made for a unique experience. The historic setting gives the property plenty of character and atmosphere. The common lounge area of the hotel is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a tea or coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable however they are quite small. Overall a nice stay”
