“Upon arrival there was a queue to check in with no staff at reception. After a short wait I went to find someone. Was told by the bar staff member he would come once he had served at bar. Shower didn't work in room so had to be moved to another. There was running water in this room however more of a drizzle out the shower so impossible to use. Toilet roll holder broken. Very run down and needs a lot of money spending on it. Breakfast in morning wasn't the best either. Me and my husband left...

“Stayed one night the inn was nice and the staff very friendly. The food was good in the restaurant and a good breakfast. The car park was full when we arrived and my car was damaged overnight with no note left. ”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

“Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.”

“I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. ”

“Room was lovely, clean and coffee machine. Went for the Ibiza night. Great music, great food! Blankets supplied for the chilly evening. Nice touch. The owners are hands on and really can’t do enough for everyone. Stating again for the Ascot ladies day. ”

“Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”
