“Nice room and location ”

“Great English pub just stay there ”

“Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. ”

“A warm friendly welcome from the landlord. Nice room, they don't serve breakfast but leave a nice hamper in the room for a DIY breakfast, nice touch. Very easy access to M54”

“We've just had an overnight stay & we'll definitely be back, we stayed in the kingsize deluxe room & it was so spacious and comfortable the bed was so comfy & the shower was amazing with a built-in steam & sauna. Everywhere was spotless clean had tea snd coffee amenities with small fridge was self service to check in which was so easy 10 minutes walking distance to the town”

“Had a lovely stay and a fantastic meal room was small and didn’t look very inviting for the out side but the bed was very comfortable room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent definitely go back, ”

“Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again.”

“Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

“Shower was awful,couldnt get it to a comfortable temperature,it was either freezing cold or scalding hot,also bin hadnt been emptied there was an empty meal container still in there,besides that room was ok,beware of low ceiling if u r tall”

“The room was large, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Fantastic waitress. A great place to stay. ”

“Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”
