“The location of Varscona Hotel is its absolute strongest asset. Being so central made exploring the area incredibly convenient; it really is the "key" to an stress-free trip. Beyond the location, I was very impressed with the rooms. They have been newly renovated and feel incredibly fresh and modern. I am highly recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, updated stay in Edmonton AB. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Overall a nice stay. Clean room, everything worked. Food was decent (burger very good). The proximity of the smaller bar area to the foyer's outside doors made dining while watching some sports quite cold with people coming in and out of the hotel.”

If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. ”
