“We thought we’d booked a room and were given a suite on two floors which was novel. The staff were great and the breakfast fine. Dinner was excellent although a little expensive although I may be poor of date. We didn’t have time to try the pool but it looked good. You do have to book a time slot. We would stay again but prefer a room in the main house.”

“Wonderful clean room with many amenities. Exceptional dinner and breakfast all served by very friendly staff. Hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely large patio, plenty of outside comfortable seating with marvellous views across the gardens. Second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back again!”

“The rooms are clean but lack basics. No water in the rooms. You cannot get food after 10pm. The jacuzzi is designed to kill you. There is so much chlorine it feels like a gas chamber. Its awful. Its supposed to be relaxing but you leave crying. The sauna and steam rooms are great. The swimming is good and perfect temperature. “Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. The wi-if was so bad I couldn’t have a 5 minute...
