“Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. “We spent 5 days in this beautiful college in Ballyvaughan.Location is great. Just a short walk to the beach and a 5 min drive to the village, where we could find easily a shop that provides with food and all you may need for your stay. Good starting point for the exploration of Irlands western part.The interior of the house is as described. Nothing was missing for us and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and the cozy living room. “This is a wonderful place to stay with a beautiful view from upstairs bedrooms. Gorgeous town and area. Loved the hot tub!Small negative points: we only received the address 10 minutes before check in time which was frustrating; and only one shower can be used at a time which was tricky with 5 people staying there. ”
