“Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)”

“Stayed here many times over the years as it's convenient for Donington racing circuit. It's not a 5 star hotel, but gives excellent value for money in comfortable surroundings. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from the pub making it a convenient stopover. Plenty of free parking as well. Will definitely be visiting again. About 9 miles from Donington.”

“Ero già stata in questo hotel nell'estate di due anni fa e l'ho scelto di nuovo perchè mi ero trovata molto bene, soprattutto per il confort e la grandezza della camera. Questa volta , invece, non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Camera piccola, un po' fatiscente con un impianto di riscaldamento guasto perchè per tutte e tre le notti che vi ho soggiornato ho sofferto fortrmente il caldo, pur essendoci 10 gradi esterni. “Plenty of free parking. Bar welcoming for a weary traveller. Friendly, quick service at dinner. Food exceptional, and very reasonably priced. Room spacious, but tired. No breakfast available.”

“Unfortunately I had eaten enroute so did not dine in the nicely furnished olde style pub which took orders until 20.30 but, despite my 20.20 arrival I was given opportunity to eat. The bed was very comfortable. An armchairxwas provided in addition to a chair.”

“Allora, quello che non mi e' piaciuto è che avevo la camera sopra la cucina e che quindi mi arrivavano tutti fumi in camera specialmente negli orari di punta quando le persone andavano a cena. Del resto tutto ok”

“Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. ”
