Welcome to The Coles Bay Shack, centrally located in beautiful Coles Bay, and only a 5 minute drive the world famous Freycinet National Park. The Coles Bay Shack is within walking distance to Coles Bay beaches, local shops, a bakery and the ice creamery. The beautiful open plan living space is ideal for you to enjoy those romantic getaways in a sunny, cosy and stylish space.

The Coles Bay Shack is a beautiful one bedroom one-bathroom costal property. The unit is the perfect place to relax and wind down. This unique unit is perfect for a couple wanting to get away and enjoy stunning views, hiking and the many beaches that the Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay has to offer.

As you enter the unit from the sun-drenched deck you will be able to enjoy the beautifully styled open plan living and dining space. The space is fantastic to entertain with the amazing local wines and produce that the area has to offer. Down the hall is a gorgeous and cosy bedroom with a queen size bed.

A 5 minute walk in either direction will take you to beautiful beaches and spectacular views of the Coles Bay township and waterfront esplanade where you will find fantastic coffee, breakfast, lunch & dinner options.

The Coles Bay Shack is only 5 minutes drive to the world renowned Freycinet National Park & Wineglass Bay. The National Park is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, including pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters and rugged granite mountains.

There is a washing machine and dryer in a common shared area that can be used also.

This property will hold a special place in everyone’s heart will create lasting memories. With unrivalled access to the sun, sand and nature you can experience all here, at The Coles Bay Shack.

Comfortable for $$$, shower bathroom sink backed up due to ??blocked or broken pipes. Very bad odour coming out of all drains as well as out on verandah. Modern kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals.

Coles Bay Shack

Upon check in, we were overcome by a very strong rotten shellfish type of smell throughout the entire home. We immediately opened all windows but didn’t have much luck in airing it out. The place had been cleaned but not thoroughly. There were several dead flies on the windowsills. The furniture was also quite dated and of cheap quality. We attempted contact with the host through the VRBO app requesting either a cancellation/refund or to move but never heard back and were completely ghosted. We finally were able to reach someone the next day after much effort. They moved us to another home that was much nicer.

Clean and tidy property. Quite spacious inside although the shower cubicle is a little small. Living area was quite warm when we entered the property. Steep concrete steps to entrance of the building.

Property was good would have liked to have known about the stairs beforehand. Made it difficult to get luggage etc up to house. Would not be suitable for elderly or disabled.
