“The stay was very nice, but multiple times the staff seemed to be complaining about being short staffed. Also our air conditioning unit never got below 78, we did report this to the front desk. ”

“A little dated, but clean overall. i asked for a fan and was told they would bring it right up. They did not. A/C stopped working around 9:30pm - maintenance came right away. Unfortunately the problem could not be fixed. Maintenance assured me I would be moved into another room. Front desk never called and I was not able to get a live person on the phone. It was hot and stuffy all night. Traffic noise from I40 right outside the window. NO sleep - court at 8:00am! Defininately would not stay here...

“First time being in Best Western and you are greeted with friendly service and the price is decent. Though the hotel is only two floors. The bedrooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable to sleep in.”

“We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem while visiting for a local tournament. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared recently renovated. While some of the finishes weren’t perfect, they were still well done overall. The hotel seemed fully booked, so it did get a bit noisy at times, as sound carried through the walls and doors. “Clean rooms, SUPER spacious for bigger families! Close to alot of tasty restaurants! Park across street to walk dogs! Fitness center is perfect, but also close to Rockbox and F45 for my group class fanatics! Staff was friendly and helpful! ”

“The hotel is old-world OLD, but in remarkably good shape. Huge banquet rooms, restaurant/bar attached, swimming pool and terrace room for breakfast. The breakfast (included) was the only downside. The hot food was not brought out in a timely manner and quickly depleted. There was no way to contact staff to let them know. everything else about the hotel is excellent! Rooms clean and include in-room safe, micro and SMALL TV (I can live with it). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful....
