The balcony right off our room allowed us to drink our morning coffee while watching the sun-rise. We then took a walk to the beach, then enjoyed the hot-tub and pool. “The sheets were wonderful. The bathroom has no countertops! The cutlery was so flimsy it was difficult to cut the sausages”

“They did a great job renovating the Tar Heel motel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bring K-cups with you if you are a big coffee drinker and don’t pack heavy. This is the best of old school Outer Banks, reminds me of when my parents would take us to OBX in the 70’s staying at the Beacon.”
