“This room was clean and well-maintained. The people were very friendly. Convenient to downtown Manteo and about 10-15 from Jennette’s Pier at Nags Head. Only negative is there’s just one parking space per room, but for most people that is probably just fine. A cute and comfortable place to stay. Would go back and would recommend. ”

“This property was a last minute find and we could not have been happier with the experience from start to finish. The convenience of booking and while we were there from the staff was excellent! Right on the water with a great view, the made everyone as comfortable as we could have wanted and more. Thank you, we are always sorry when we have to leave.”

“We planned this last minute, and they were very accommodating. We got down there Saturday morning at 1015 am. Glenn at the front desk was EXTREMELY nice. He let us park there and go to the beach until our room was ready. I went in at 3pm to see if it was ready (check in at 4pm) and Again Glenn (awesome) was very friendly and got me into my room. All the staff were very friendly, and the room was great.”

“One of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in as a frequent traveler (normally staying with big name hotels for business). Staff members were friendly. It was a very short, and mostly easy, walk to the beach via private access. Not sure about breakfast, the fitness room, or the pools as I did not use those amenities. ”

“My stay was amazing. The view from my room was great. The room was very clean up on arrival. It was pretty quiet the whole time and the pool was very clean. Beach access was great didn't have to go over and dunes just right out to the ocean. Overall my stay was great and I would recommend staying at the Blue Heron”

“Great property the only thing I would change put curtains on door outside string lights do shine pretty bright thru glass in door. We put a towel over but everything else was great.”

“The room is extremely cozy and fitting to the outer Banks as far as decor. The lady at the front desk known as sunshine was very pleasant and sweet”
