“I would give the Terra Nova 3 stars. The main reason for this lower rating was the state of the bathroom, the toilet had a clear seal applied right over a layer of black grime, leaving it looking absolutely dirty. For a high-end hotel, I definitely expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.”

“The property is well maintained even while being under renovation to the entrance.
The staff is friendly and helpful, beginning with the security personnel upon arrival.
The hostess Alexandria greets you with a smile as warm as the Jamaican noon day sun.
Alexandria referred to me by name even though I had not visited in 9 months. She assisted my elderly mother to her seat and recommended a smoothie for her breakfast. Very attentive and kind.”

“Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained.
