“My family and I booked this cabin for our snow tubing trip in March, 2026. The cabin is in such a pleasant area. Its close to everything but yet completely tucked away in the mountains. The cabin was clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor hanging lights which lights up the outdoor area beautifully. “Jose was an amazing host! We had opportunity to chat with him as we were checking in and he was very responsive to any questions. We were very impressed with how clean the cabin was. The location was convenient to attractions and restaurants in Blowing Rock and Boone. We enjoyed listening to the train horn from the Tweetsie Railroad, the natural setting, and watching the deer graze in the backyard.”

“Fabulous view”

“Location was excellent, and the hot tub and other outdoor areas were amazing. The interior space was cramped for 2 adults and 2 children, but would be fine for 2 adults. The addition of a dishwasher would have been nice, as handwashing dishes throughout the stay detracted a little from the experience. Nothing was overtly misleading in the listing, but photos certainly made it look like the space was larger and more updated than it actually was. Host was kind and communicative; however...

“Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use.”

“This cabin was one of the best places we stayed while on a 2 week road trip! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The back porch was our favorite place to sit, as it overlooked the pasture with 7 horses, as well as a creek in the distance. It was so peaceful there! The people who worked there were so kind and helpful. They even helped us tremendously with a car issue that we had by calling the tow truck for us and making us comfortable during our wait.
