Talk about a gem, this cabin in the woods is such a find. Stargazing while sitting on the deck by the fire, the hot tub, cooking your own meals in the cozy kitchen and snoozing away in the comfortable bed with excellent blackout curtains! Definitely need four-wheel-drive or to plan a walk up the hill if you’re parking on the road. Just lovely. Our host prepared a New Year’s Eve decorated space special for us. We went for long walks with our dog and had a cozy fire on the front porch. We will be back!

The Cozy Cabin was a great get away for Christmas for me and hubby. The cabin was immaculate and everything was there that we needed. It was a well equipped kitchen and bath along with extras like indoor and outdoor games. There were plenty of regular and heated blankets to snuggle up in. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were beautiful. Even though it was abnormally warm (75 degrees) for Christmas in the Rockies, a cold front came through and we actually got snow a few days later. It was only 5 degrees when we left so we got to enjoy the wood burning stove. While we were there we had an issue with the fridge because it wouldn't keep our food cold. It would freeze ice but took over 24 hrs to do it and the refrigerator part was just cool at best. When I reached out to the host, steps were put into place to replace the fridge. Of course, we wouldn't be the recipients of it, but it will be in place for the next visitor. They even reimbursed me for the cost of the ice we had to buy to keep our stuff cool. The point is that the host is prompt in responding and available to try and solve problems. The only real negative is the driveway. All I can say is I'm glad we were in a 4x4 truck. The driveway is very steep with fine loose gravel and difficult to get up. I would make sure you had at least an all wheel drive vehicle to even hope to make it to the top.

We had an excellent stay and experience with the cabin. The owner and I had excellent communication. The cabin, location, and hot tub were perfect. Best quiet getaway you could want. I truly appreciate the small touches like a sweet card to our dog with treats and supplies to make smores, etc. I highly recommend this cabin if you want to get off the beaten path and enjoy some peace and quiet! Will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It's a lovely little cabin in a great location, with beautiful views on the way there. The views from the house were quite nice, and the hot tub and the wood stove were an added plus! Our host was very quick to respond, and very helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Cozy Cabin

This little cabin was so cute and had everything that one could need! Leaving this vacation spot was not easy!The only downside was the driveway was not suitable for a 2 wheel drive vehicle due to being steep but we could still park about half way up. Another annoyance was the 5 miles of washboard gravel we had to traverse to get to the cabin but the owner can't control that. The cabin was still perfect, and would be so fun to stay in in the winter and test out that wood stove and basket of blankets :)

Livd up to its name

The title of this place “Cozy Hot Tub Cabin on the Lake!” lived up to its name. The views, the peace, the hot tub and location was perfect. The cabin was adorable and super clean. We felt welcomed as it was very personable to us and our pets. We will definitely be looking to come back!

Great location!! Enjoyed every minute! Took my mom after she finished chemo and radiation and we did a lot of just staying around and relaxing. A lot of enjoying coffee lol.The best view! Great little get away

Dealing with Lisa, the property host, she was amazing! This little cozy cabin is exactly what we were wanting. I explained to Lisa that is was a birthday getaway for my wife and sister in law and Lisa took the time to decorate for them! It wasnt much but it was perfect! A few balloons, birthday glasses with flowers in them, party hats and a sweet birthday card for them! It was just perfect! Away from the city with no one to bother us. Had fantastic fishing, catching trout from 12"-19"! Mostly rainbow but my wife did catch a 19" steelhead. Everything was clean,but the hot tub could have used a little more cleaning done. They have games to play if you just want to stay in and relax. Very cute and cozy cabin! Just what we were wanting!

Absolutely perfect cabin. Had everything we needed. Awesome lake view from hot tub and cabin. Very short drive to 11 mile canyon on south plate river. Excellent getaway!
