    This Property is Perfect for Those Looking for a Secluded Nature retreat!

    Access to the property includes a mountain road that may be rough, washboarded, dusty, muddy, snowy, or icy depending on weather conditions. The driveway is steep and may be challenging for some vehicles during winter weather or adverse road conditions. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is strongly recommended during snow season.

    By booking, guests acknowledge that mountain conditions, wildlife, insects, changing weather, unpaved roads, and steep terrain are a normal part of staying in a secluded Colorado mountain cabin.

We enjoyed staying here. The cabin has great views and was well stocked. Our dogs enjoyed sniffing around the property. It's close to other things to do but the cabin is also perfect for staying in. The hot tub was nice to unwind in at the end of the day.

The cozy cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay for our family of 4. Our children loved the hot tub and the view is amazing. We had a small question for the owner, Lisa, and she answered right away via text. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic stay. Work in hospitality so super picky. Very clean cozy place. Listing is as advertised. Super quiet. Very quaint and has everything you need for a secluded retreat. Kitchen has everything you could ever want. Host was super nice and very responsive Hot tub was relaxing and super nice under a star lit cool evening Room was cozy and cleanSafe balcony’s for doggos to see the surroundings with use for morning coffee Fantastic area for walks and hikes with said doggos Highly recommend. We will be back

Livd up to its name

The title of this place “Cozy Hot Tub Cabin on the Lake!” lived up to its name. The views, the peace, the hot tub and location was perfect. The cabin was adorable and super clean. We felt welcomed as it was very personable to us and our pets. We will definitely be looking to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It's a lovely little cabin in a great location, with beautiful views on the way there. The views from the house were quite nice, and the hot tub and the wood stove were an added plus! Our host was very quick to respond, and very helpful. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Amazing south plate getaway.

Absolutely perfect cabin. Had everything we needed. Awesome lake view from hot tub and cabin. Very short drive to 11 mile canyon on south plate river. Excellent getaway!

Talk about a gem, this cabin in the woods is such a find. Stargazing while sitting on the deck by the fire, the hot tub, cooking your own meals in the cozy kitchen and snoozing away in the comfortable bed with excellent blackout curtains! Definitely need four-wheel-drive or to plan a walk up the hill if you’re parking on the road. Just lovely. Our host prepared a New Year’s Eve decorated space special for us. We went for long walks with our dog and had a cozy fire on the front porch. We will be back!

Great location!! Enjoyed every minute! Took my mom after she finished chemo and radiation and we did a lot of just staying around and relaxing. A lot of enjoying coffee lol.The best view! Walked around the lake. Host was fantastic and always responded right away! Had everything you could possibly need! Couldn’t have made a better choice! Cutest cabin! Thank you for everything!

Cozy Cabin

This little cabin was so cute and had everything that one could need! Leaving this vacation spot was not easy!The only downside was the driveway was not suitable for a 2 wheel drive vehicle due to being steep but we could still park about half way up. Another annoyance was the 5 miles of washboard gravel we had to traverse to get to the cabin but the owner can't control that. The cabin was still perfect, and would be so fun to stay in in the winter and test out that wood stove and basket of blankets :)

Great little get away

Dealing with Lisa, the property host, she was amazing! This little cozy cabin is exactly what we were wanting. I explained to Lisa that is was a birthday getaway for my wife and sister in law and Lisa took the time to decorate for them! It wasnt much but it was perfect! A few balloons, birthday glasses with flowers in them, party hats and a sweet birthday card for them! It was just perfect! Away from the city with no one to bother us. Had fantastic fishing, catching trout from 12"-19"! Mostly rainbow but my wife did catch a 19" steelhead. Everything was clean,but the hot tub could have used a little more cleaning done. They have games to play if you just want to stay in and relax. Very cute and cozy cabin! Just what we were wanting!
