'Cottage by the Pond' ha tutto il necessario per una vacanza confortevole e indimenticabile. Rilassati nell'ampio soggiorno mentre guardi un DVD in TV, circondato da decorazioni in stile meridionale, numerosi oggetti d'antiquariato e interessanti cimeli,

Quando gli stomaci iniziano a rimbombare, inizia la preparazione dei pasti nella cucina completamente attrezzata. Ci sono molti posti a sedere ai 2 tavoli da pranzo in modo che tutti possano godersi la ricca festa. Se il sole splende, accendi la griglia a gas e goditi un pasto pomeridiano.

Trascorri il resto della giornata nuotando nella piscina privata, pescando nel laghetto privato di 13 acri o esplorando l'acqua in pedalò. July stay

The property was very nice, but it seemed like the host was not ready for us. The pool was beautiful but was dirty. The cottage did not have adequate air condition. One room was unbearable to sleep in because it was so hot. Beautiful property, just needs some upkeep.

Very peaceful

I dont even know how to start. The owners was very nice and very understanding!! They allow more people to enjoy the property with me! She was there every second of the way to help me make my stay perfect and relaxed! I mean she very reasonable just be honest and you will be on the goodside of them. They allow me to treat the home like it was very own. They didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all... i mean im so happy i met them and want to book here in the near future!!

Heaven on Earth

Cant say enough good things about our stay. Angelina and Sam made us feel like family and made sure we had anything we needed. The comfort of the cottage is so peaceful we extended our stay and did not wish to leave. Swimming in the pool was very enjoyable, they even supply several floaties for our son and life vest. The fishing I may add is the best, a good supply of Bass and Bream that will not disappoint anyone willing to try their luck. Paddle boats and a small fishing boat tied at the dock for our use made fun on the lake possible. My favorite was to sit on the back screened in patio drinking coffee and taking the peaceful beauty of the property in setting my mind and thoughts at ease. We will definitely return here and do it again. Thank you so much Sam and Angelina.....

Own Piece of Private Heaven!

What an amazing experience, I don't even know where to begin! Driving onto the property was breathtaking, you crest a hill and BAM gorgeous right on the pond. The owner was very kind and accommodating to any of our needs. She gives you a tour and then you are on your own to enjoy the beauty and serenity. We stayed with 5 adults and 3 children and could not get enough. The pool was refreshing, ping pong was a blast, the pond and john boat was a lot of fun. We couldn't have asked for a better time and a better host! Thank you for allowing us to have this memory! We will be back!

We wanted warm place with private pool and private fishing. Pool not open or even getting ready to be...paddle boat and fishing boat BOTH broken.. Also it said sauna ,didnt see it ,so assuming it wasn't ready either. No wifi or tv ..Not alot of privacy, their house is so close ,when we tried to sit out in sun,we had company..Do not get me wrong the people were so nice ,the bedding and linens were clean..We had to leave early,due to home issues ,but they patched the paddle boat and was trying to fix fishing boat.

This is a very pretty location. If you can get past everything else, it’s a decent place. To start with, I usually don’t review many places, but I felt compelled to pass this info on. When the owner writes to contact her to arrange a meeting to a key and tour, she won’t respond. I was so stressed I called the agency. They could not get ahold of her and were rebooking me. Less then 45 minutes before arrival she finally called back. She lives on property so don’t worry, she’s there. When she says bring paper products, that means less than 1 flush worth of toilet paper, no trash bags, very few paper towels. It it’s something you expect to use at a rental, bring it. There was everything you need in the kitchen besides knives and cookie sheets. It’s a rustic cabin, with lots of antique dusty stuff. Make sure if it’s winter, you bring extra layers in the downstairs, you will need them. But upstairs where you sleep will be nice and warm. No matter how you adjust the thermostat. There are lots of geese. Make sure to wear shoes and watch where you sit. The faucets drip all night and yep the fans squeak. There are window and portable Ac units just an FYI. The lighting is pour for family activities and the tv is an antique, utilizing DVD player. If you can deal with that it looks like a nice place for an outdoor weekend. The owners did leave you alone and understood your privacy.

Needs some TLC

We enjoyed the weekend. The home needs a good cleaning. I cleaned the ceiling fans which hadn't been touched in ages. The home only has window AC units which are loud and in need of a cleaning. We cleaned up many spiders and webs in the home. The screened porch is ripped and we had to buy hornet/wasp spray to kill the bugs. The ping pong table was a lot of Fun but had been well loved. Paddles are falling apart. The pool was very nice but needs a good cleaning and resurfacing.

This booking was canceled 1 hr before I arrived to this property. To make things worst it was my birthday. The owner said that vrbo/ evolve over booked her and that, then she had a family death. Like she couldn't decide what story line she wanted to use. I traveled all the way there only to get turned around and treated that way. I didn't know what to do.. We end up getting a hotel because we didnt have any where to go. This booking site also is horrible because No One can help you when u in need only threw email. It took me almost 2hrs to just talk to someone.... So to sum it up... I wouldn't book here if u have plans. This was a major let down.. And I believe there was people stay in our spot for the weekend...Sad story I never cried so hard in my life on my birthday.

The Cottage by the Pond sits on a beautiful piece of property. The hospitality shown by Mrs. Angelina was superb. My family and I really enjoyed each moment spent in the cottage.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. It has me questioning every using vrbo again.

The instruction were to contact the property owner before arriving, which I did. There was a note on the confirmation that if the guest count did not match the reservation there would be an additional charge of a hundred dollaars. I informed the owner before leaving home that I wanted to bring along 2 additional guests, my brothers 18 and 24 month old grandchildren and inquired about the additional charge. I was told not to worry about it. That we would discuss upon arrival if needed. I confirmed that my reservation was for 8 adults and 2 children. She indicated that the information that she received from Evolve, the property manager, was for 6 adults and 2 children. I assured her that there was an error and she said that she would verify her information. Upon arrival, the property owner was at the property cleaning the pool. She immediately inquired about the additional $100 fee, so I wrote her a check. She then started wandering around the property questioning my guests. She informed me that we should make sure that no one "pees in the pool" and stated tat the rental was not for an "event." I informed her that there was not an even planned, however the purpose of the rental was to celebrate my birthday. She said that there was not a problem, but immediately started grilling me about the number of people that would be at the property. I had toshow her my email from Evolve. That night, we called because there were bats coming out of the chimney and flying around inside of the unit. She came down and placed a door screen across the opening of the chimney. Apparently, the next day she called Evolve to have us evicted siting a violation of the agreement. An email was sent by Evolve, however due to poor reception, I did not see the email on my phone. The evening before we were scheduled to leave, she was again on the property at the pool. I struck up a conversation and she was immediately combative and rude. She informed me that "we" were not what she expected. I asked if there was any damage or problems, she said no everything seemed to be in tact, but that was not the issue. I eventually saw the email and called Evolve. They said that it is entirely up to the property owner to decide to evict. They said if I had seen the email earlier, I would have been required to leave the property, with no refund of any type. I was also informed that I should not have paid anything directly to the property owner. My advice - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERT

Once we got settled in...

The owner, very friendly, greeted me and showed me around the property. Connecting to WIFI took some time. The compressor was out on the A/C. She did have fans on to help with air circulation. The pool had been closed down for the summer. She worked hard to get the pool open for future guests, but too late for us to enjoy. The kennel (which we paid extra for) was pretty far away from the cottage and very close to the chicken coop. She requested to meet our dogs, then offered to let them stay in the laundry room. As I mentioned, once we settled in, we enjoyed the beautiful property.
