“Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view!”

“Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one ”

“We had a brief overnight stay at The Rocky Cove B&B for our time in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Being an older property, the amenities were adequate for our short stay. We were lucky enough to find parking at the front of the property but like all places in the UK, if this was not available, would have been challenging. Our host was very accommodating but be sure to note that even though the property is a B&B, breakfast may not automatically be included in your rate which the host pointed out...

“Room was shabby and falling apart, needed attention and a good clean. Assistant manager was rude, confrontational and aggressive. We were made to feel very unwelcome and unsafe.”

“We booked this last minute and, given the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but I was genuinely surprised at how great our stay turned out to be. The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus. The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely stay...

“Lovely stay at Valley view, lots of space for all the family. We had rain most of the week but enjoyed being there all together. Lovely views and not far to drive or walk to ilfracombe. They seemed to think of everything at Valley view, thank you for our great stay.”

“Really friendly staff and excellent food. Great location. Well stocked bar with plenty of choice, seating inside and out. Room was spacious but could have been cleaner, there were bits on the floor that made their way onto the pillows then the bed, hairs on the toilet and no soap in the container in the shower. Would definitely go back if ever in the area again.”

“Il Waterfront Inn si trova a pochi passi dalla Westward Ho beach, una spiaggia immensa soggetta ad un’incredibile variabilità a seconda della marea, ideale anche per chi vuole imparare il surf. La camera è pulita e molto spaziosa con la macchina per il caffè/te. Il ristorante offre una buona cucina inglese e la colazione, abbondante a scelta, è inclusa nel prezzo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio, anch’esso incluso nel prezzo, è proprio dietro la struttura”
