Staff were great especially Lorraine, who gave us a great welcome to the hotel and gave my wife a picture of Elvis when we left, because my wife was wearing an Elvis t-shirt. Lots of veggie options on the breakfast menu. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a bath in room 1.”

Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il parcheggio, anch’esso incluso nel prezzo, è proprio dietro la struttura”

“L'Hotel è molto confortevole ed il personale molto efficente. La città di Barnstaple non offre molte attrattive ma è in una posizione strategica per effettuare una visita del Nord Devon. L'Hotel è dotato di un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito.”

“Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus.”

“Facilities were excellent something for everyone. Plenty of kids entertainment on site and outside. Indoor pool was lovely. The restaurant food and breakfast was very freshly prepared and full of flavour. Great choice! The staff were really welcoming and friendly they made you feel comfortable. I will 100% return due to the above and general location of the hotel a walk away from the beach. Very happy .”

“This is a traditional old style hotel. May not be ultra modern but full of charm and character and wonderful staff. Always a pleasure to stay. The restaurant is top notch for both breakfast and evening dinner.”

“I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village.”
