“Very old and tired on outside but the rooms were maintained and clean. Unfortunately the very loud floor boards above us literally kept us awake everytime someone walked. I originally called to ask to have the construction up stairs stopped around 9pm and later realized it was heavy footsteps on creaking floor. Very very loud. We were not supplied with clean towels or replenishment of the coffee supplies. Breakfast was simple but okay. Staff did get towels and coffee when i went to front...

“The rooms are very clean, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. There is a bbq and with it a running sink. They even have bbq tools so that you’re equipped to do the job. This is such a nice touch and they have also outfitted the patio with comfortable outdoor furniture and substantial umbrellas. I love this place. ”

“The property is well located in the centre of the village. Only complained we had was due to the outside noise (Power saw and back-up alarm from forklift) created by the construction in the harbor. A room on the other side of the hotel might have cushioned that noise somewhat. The staff lady which we connected with in the Grocery/Liquor Store was extremely helpful and sourced a microwave and cutlery for us , since the restaurants where still closed for the season. Would definitely stay there...

“I had a beautiful ocean view from my room. The hotel is a little older, but has clearly been upgraded. Clean, comfortable and the lady working the front desk was just the best.”

“Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas.
