Hotel a Comox

“ Basic rooms an a little outdated but clean. Beds are not that confortable. Breakfast is not great and the room only has 4 tables accomodating 10 people maximum for an hotel that size not praticable. Friendly and accomodating staff.”

“Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and...

“Never used the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked. Temperature controls in the room seemed to work great. Everything was nice and clean. A nice place to stay.”

“I didn't like that after 5 pm there is no staff in the building. Also two security issues. Didn't feel safe as a solo female traveller.”

“The place was stunning, well cleaned. We enjoyed using the great bbq. Bed was comfortable too. Its a cook top there is no stove not that we cared because the bbq was in great shape. We enjoyed a game of horse shoes. The riad noise wasn't bad at night. ”

“Room was fine. Staff were courteous, especially in helping with the uncooperative TV! All in all our stay was fine, though basic, although the price was "basic" too! So no complaints.”

“The Rodmay Hotel has potential: it is definetely a heritage building and has some beautiful furniture but there is a lot of work to be done. It was clean and quiet but: 1. it took a long time for the hot water to arrive. 2. we couldn't shut the bathroom door. 3. the bathroom sink was very tiny with no counter space 4. the air was a bit stuffy.”

“Parking was safe and convenient. The hotel is in a very good location. Everything was good. Having an on-site restaurant for breakfast would be the only thing to add, although the hot drink machine, apples and cookies were very nice.”
