“New pool liner for the pool, makes it nice for kids staying there.
The room is showing it's age. needs new caulking around
the tub and the tile seams need a good scrub to brighten them up again.
Could use a magnifying mirror around the bathroom sink..
the deep red feature wall is a bit much, but that is just personal taste.
Staff was very polite and the breakfast was very adequate.
Just took a while to check out as our reservation was difficult for one of the desk people to find as we changed...
“Riding Fool Hostel never disappoints. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Rooms and washrooms are clean and well stocked.
The only issue we had, given the warm seasonal temperatures, was that the rooms were uncomfortably hot at night. Fans were available however, they were not quite enough to keep the air flowing.
Maybe an unreasonable suggestion but a vent at bottom of door and top of door frame would likely assist in drawing in the air-conditioned air from the common areas....
“This hotel was old but rooms have been updated and were very clean and big. They had one pack of coffee, two would have been better. There was a Japanese restaurant with rave reviews. The staff were great, I had to work very late and they allowed me a late check out. ”
“Great place, our tub wasn't draining properly,but the front desk had maintenence come and fix the issue quickly. Be careful with making sure the room door is shut all the way, because it may not shut properly. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee/tea station in the lounge area. Great area for BBQ in the back where you can bring your furry friends as well. Parking is a little tight. We also got a free round of golf across the way for each day we stayed. Wonderful staff. ”
“Probably one of the nicest, cleanest and most spacious motel room we have stayed in. The place was equipped with everything we could have needed. Very peaceful with a wonderful views.”
