“The property seems ok on the outside, but on the inside it’s rather dirty. The hotel has an intense dewy/dingy smell that doesn’t go away even if you open a window. The carpets and upholstery just seemed grimy, our room was dirty upon arrival, with our bedding having a cigarette hole in it and there being a used towel wedged behind the door that was missed during cleaning. We did not end up staying and quickly found another hotel.”

“The location of the hotel allowed us to walk everywhere in downtown St. Paul. Our room was unique and had views of two beautiful churches, the light rail and also the state capital. The breakfast was a thoughtful arrangement of foods including soy milk which delighted me! The downstairs bar was a nice spot to sit and relax with friends. The staff was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to come back!!”

“There is a lot of potential for this B&B, but there were just a few too many details to be able to give more than a 5 rating for the room we stayed in. The host was pleasant and accommodating. The location is excellent, with many good restaurants in walking distance. The night was as quiet as one would expect being in a city of this size. Parking is on site and free, which is also a bonus. The price for the small top floor rooms is also a value, but should have been a bit of a yellow...

“I was on a non-smoking floor and clearly someone or certain rooms were smoking marijuana. Could smell it clear down the hall. I think it needs to be policed better. The bar was amazing.. loved the wild west saloon”

“We liked the breakfast. It was a very nice hotel with a nice fitness room and laundry services. We would recommend this hotel as it was very convenient. Our minibar was broken so we did not have that convience. They said we could keep it downstairs which is not convenient but nice of them. Of course we forgot everything when we left.”

“my advice is to stay somewhere else. to me, this building seemed like it had been used as subsidized housing by a public agency and then sold. The new owner may have transformed each of the units into a hotel room, but they couldn’t change the stairways, the elevators, or the sad depressing feeling inside the building. “Everything was ok except the bathroom. Yall really need to update the toilets and tubs, I couldn’t even use the bathroom or take a shower because the tub was dirty and toilet all rusted out”
