Perched above pine-clad coastline in one of the most scenic, relaxing and sought-after areas on Corfu, Eleftheria is a wonderful holiday base. Not only does the property boast breathtaking views from the pool, terraces and balconies across the sparkling Ionian Channel to Albania but there is also easy access to amenities at the iconic waterside hamlet of San Stefanos (950m)… and even easier access (just 550m) to the blue-flag beach and waterside taverna of Kerasia.
Flowing comfortably over three individual levels Eleftheria has a distinctive layout that may particularly appeal to a family of mixed ages or a group of sharing friends. Bedrooms are located on the upper and lower floors with the living/dining area (plus an ‘extra’ shower room) on the middle level. Décor throughout is traditionally styled, uncluttered and homely with a fresh, white paint scheme helping to cool the interior when outside temperatures are at their height. Access onto either a balcony or terrace from all the principal rooms ensures those lovely sea views remain an integral part of the holiday.

Reminiscent in shape of a grand piano, the private swimming pool is fringed by a spacious terrace ideal for enjoying the sunshine, with a pergola and umbrella on one side providing shaded respite when required. Framed by open sky, soaring pine trees and dense foliage (the verdant greenery on the right is actually a part of international financier Lord Rothschild’s private estate) this is the ideal spot from which to absorb the gorgeous, ever-changing coastal panorama that fills the eyeline ahead of you.

Waterfront tavernas, a well-stocked minimarket, a local coffee bar and enjoyably laid back ambience make nearby San Stefanos a real delight. Little motorboats can also be hired here for a lazy day puttering along the coastline in search of a secluded cove for a picnic. In the other direction Kerasia Beach is regularly awarded a Blue Flag for cleanliness and the beach taverna, which opens for the majority of the summer season, is a renowned spot for enjoying long lazy lunches by the water’s edge.
