“A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort.”

“La posizione dell’hotel e la vista che si gode dalla terrazza è spettacolare, vale tutto il costo del soggiorno L’hotel a un parcheggio, peraltro gratuito, che è sicuramente utilissimo in un viaggio con la macchina in Cornovaglia. La camera è molto semplice ed il bagno è un prefabbricato, la vista però parlava da sola ed il silenzio rotto solo dal mare e dai gabbiani ti rimane dentro. In generale, c’è piaciuto molto il soggiorno.”

“The staff absolutely could not do enough to accommodate us, we swapped rooms that suited us better. Only a shame there’s no food available after a certain time, but overall a lovely safe place central to reach all areas.”

“Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. Lovely quality bedding, pillows etc. We loved the swimming pool, showers and changing rooms - great. The outside jacuzzi which you swim out through the pool doors to get too. We could have stayed...

“I thought the rooms were amazing for the price, the AC was a god send and the pressure in the shower was great. I was extremely happy with the rooms and would gladly visit again. The course was amazing, really well kept and the staff were really polite and friendly. The only gripe that we had is that the time waiting to order and for the food to come wasn’t very good. We ate at Trethorne all three nights and it was the same every night. We even had to approach the bar to order our food on...
