“My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. This year, it was evident they were stress and under strain. When we visited in the spring, we learned about a new pool towel...

And no place in shower to set your shampoo and soap. But as far as the grounds were beautiful! It was peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely go back.”

“Breakfast as a white selection lobby is very clean breakfast. You’re very clean. Only recommendation is I think the rooms should not have carpet. If you are allowing animals to stay in the hotel I could smell the carpet. Secondly, the refrigerator needs changing because you have to constantly push a button to keep it cool and no one is gonna stick around doing that for two hours also Bathroom needs updating for especially handicap guest”

“I’ve stayed at the hotel many times in the past. It’s been probably 20 years since my last stay. They have upgraded the rooms a bit. Comfy bed. Love having microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Love being in the village so I can walk to my favorite restaurants and bars.”
