When they contacted us about our arrival and I mentioned we were doing some local wine tasting on the way to the lodge, they, without skipping a beat, said they'd be sure to put some wine glasses in our room. A nice extra touch on a pleasant stay!”

“I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again...

“This property is a perfect place for a short little bike trip. Location is exceptional for some local eats and drinks within walking distance.Listing is accurate, small bathroom, quaint kitchen. Everything clean and and kitchen is stocked enough for some meal prep. “I enjoyed staying. It was for a family emergency so it was a last-minute booking. I could hear the person upstairs walking around, but it was not excessive at all. The bed was comfy. The couch in the living room could’ve been a little more comfy, but it worked for what I needed during my visit. I would definitely book it again. With large wind chimes off the deck, and mirrored wind chimes reflecting light, as well as windows that fully opened for easy air exchange and natural light, I adored this place. Thoughtfully designed, comfortable bed and an oculus to top it all off!”
