“Room was clean, staff was courteous, didn’t use air conditioning and breakfast. Flush was not effective in washroom, should get repaired. Unit number 242.”

“Parking was fine. Room was not very clean. The real issue was I originally booked 2 queen beds, but when I rechecked after booking it showed as 2 doubles, so I canceled and rebooked 2 queens. When we went to check in someone was complaining that they booked a queen and the clerk said they didn't have queens. Sure enough our booking was again changed to 2 doubles. When you book it shows as queen beds but they do not have queen beds. Not happy about that. ”

I have stayed here three times and I will continue to frequent this location on my trip to Edmonton. The breakfast is above average and the selection for items is more than acceptable. Could use some fresher options. Fitness centre could use a few more items more dumbbells, maybe a couple of mats All in all a really good stay ”

“Beautiful bar area, very clean and staff was kind and helpful, there were several sports teams in the building and zero noise heard from them at all. Rooms are a little dated but clean and great location.”

“The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. ”

“The best part about our stay was that the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. the on site restaurant is very good. We were attending an event in the conference center and were able to get an early check in, which was very helpful. ”

“This motel is in a VERY dangerous area of Edmonton!! We ended up leaving and booking else-where. DO NOT stay here of you have children.. I wouldn't have even stayed if my kids weren't with me. The parking lot and building was surrounded by obviously high/intoxicated groups of ppl. My 13 year old daughter was harassed walking from our car and there is no security- anyone can just walk in! There was also blood in the bathroom on the wall.. as soon as we saw the room we left, I expressed we did not...
