“Dear Mr Royal Hampton… Staff was wonderful accommodating us, pool wasn’t too clean there was stuff floating in it but otherwise the temp was good, maybe wasn’t cleaned from the night before, there was lots of people in it that day. Breakfast was convenient and good”

“The first room we were given had little black bugs all over it under the sheets. The floor was sticky as if it hadn’t been cleaned from previous person. The second room was better but the front desk lady was rude when I went down to get a new room. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The hall ways were 80 degrees and smelled awful.”

“Our room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom…where the toilet and shower are..is very small. I liked having it separate from the sink but was hardly enough room to move around. Other than that…room was really nice. Only had breakfast one of the 3 days we were there but it was good and they kept it well stocked considering how many people were there. “The staff were nice, clean on the outside as well as inside and smelled good. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about our stay there. ”

“The front desk person was very professional and nice. The grass around the property had lots of poo, people didn’t pick up after their dogs. There was no specific area for dogs but yet it said dogs were welcome? No bathroom on check in floor. No place to sit.”

“the property was not at all prepared for the large crowd on Memorial day Sunday evening. The evening "Kick-Back" was not staffed, dishes were overflowing on tables, tables were not being cleaned, etc. We saw one staff person get off the elevator. There lots of noise from kids running through the lobby area until 9:00pm or later. The manager at the Blue Springs/Independence Drury, where I am a frequent guest, would not have tolerated what took place in Overland Park Sunday night.”

“The rooms were very nice. There is no breakfast in the morning which is usually customary in most hotels we have stayed at. The elevator was not working and we were put on the fourth floor. Staff did offer us a discount on our room but then found they could not give us it since we had prepaid with Expedia. :(”
