“We had the most amazing time at Coles Bay Vacation Retreat! They are the most lovely couple who care so much about their guests experience. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning on a late flight and they were so accommodating, meeting us on the driveway to give us a tour of our place. They were also up in the morning preparing the most delicious breakfast of our choosing from a wonderful selection of menu items. They even catered to my gluten free needs! “The Cottage and Castle is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and situated in a lovely neighborhood of colourfully painted houses and As well it is anIt’s a real gem. However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! ”
