“Warm welcome with lovely staff who never seemed to sleep(!) but always served with a smile. The menu had a good selection of dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed the homemade food which was tasty and generous in portion size. The spiced plum crumble was amazing and we were told they were homegrown plums! The room was lovely and exactly what we wanted. Everything was clean and neat. We loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended. ”

“3 nights family stay, the gym is small but well equipped, the location is gorgeous and the housekeeping was outstanding. Breakfast is very good but could improve in terms of variety. The restaurant has a limited menu and is the same of the bar. The service was very slow in general. Wifi was fast and very stable. Excellent value in general for the money .”
“Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay.”
“Just an amazing gem, the property itself is an amazing estate with great staff and food - with the feel of a small boutique manor, it offers a nice luxurious retreat at a reasonable price, it was the highlight stay of our 16 day trip around the UK.”
“The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. ”

"L’hotel è una bella struttura in mattoni rossi a un passo dal castello di Nottingham e dal centro città coi negozi e i ristoranti. La camera è pulita e confortevole con un bel bagno, macchina del caffè/te; il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Per chi viaggia in auto il parcheggio è proprio accanto alla struttura. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo"
