“Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money.”

“Cottage was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The attention to detail was great, we wanted for nothing. Welcome pack and cake much appreciated. Jane contacted us on arrival to check all ok and to answer any questions, great communication, location for many walks and local pub served very tasty food. Definitely recommend. Tracy”

“Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.”

“Had a great stay at this lovely little cottage, good communication from the nice friendly host. Lots of things to see and do within a short drive and plenty of good walks straight from the front door. Our second stay here and would certainly like to stay again, provided we can still walk up the steep hill to the cottage.”

“When I was looking for a B&b in that area, Blossom House came up as available, so I booked it via Expedia. On arrival the owner stated that it was Room Only, I explained the advert station B&B, she the pointed to the small print that said-Room Only, that to me was a deception on her and Expedia part. I was a lone traveller and needed a Breakfast to set me up for the day, so I was very disappointed. Also. Wifi was included, but it never worked, couldnt use my card to pay and had to get £550 in...

“This property is set in the most beautiful location. There are sweeping vistas and the hotel makes the most of them with large windows in the dining room. There is ample free parking and the rooms are clean and homey. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the time spent here.”
