“From the moment we arrived Carol made us feel welcomed. She showed us to our room and explained meals times. She made us feel so at home. The room was cosy and decorated in the style of the coaching inn. Dark furnishings and a king sized bed. Lots of drawers to store clothes and a good sized wardrobe too. Lovely modern shower room with hand wash, body wash and shampoo products provided. Ironing board, hair dryer, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities, tv and bottled water also...

“The New Inn nel villaggio di Winchelsea è una piccola perla in quel meraviglioso luogo che il East Sussex. Vicinissimo a Rye ma anche a un ora di auto sia dalla Canterbury che dalle insuperabili Seven sister. Tradizione, accoglienza, pulizia,cibo locale sono le caratteristiche che saltano all'occhio e al palato per prime. Da provare assolutamente.”

“Room was good size and comfortable. Shower was a bit tricky to get right heat. Cooked breakfast nice. Rather noisy location by busy road. Handy for high street , steam railway and safari park.”

“Really lovely stay in this quiet little Oast House. We stayed in a round room, beautifully decorated with ensuite shower room. Tea and coffee and biscuits, TV in room. Plenty of drawers and cupboard space for clothes. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, and everyone was so friendly. We also had an excellent roast dinner on the Sunday. Just a short walk into Rye, which was a bonus. Would totally recommend it, and we hope to stay there again. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely old inn. The ensuite bathroom was amazing for such an old place. Very modern, very clean with a good-sized and fully powered shower and a nice area set aside with a make-up mirror. The landlord was very friendly. A good location for walking in the countryside or visiting the many nearby homes and gardens. We'll stay there again.”

“Great food and choice of drinks. Room was lovely, although it needed a thinner quilt, as it was far too hot. A bit disappointed that breakfast was not served until 9.00 am, although they did offer me a take away hamper. This was a business trip so I could not hang around for breakfast. I would definitely stay again though.”

“This property is just amazing. Full of character and charm and so very well suited to the large group that we were. From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! And what can we say about that...
