“We had a wonderful time on Crews Mountain during our visit to the Shawnee National Forest! The cabin has a great location in near the center of the park and is better than shown in the photos. It is an accessory dwelling on a well-landscaped property that has an in ground pool and a lake with swimming dock. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. We saw lots of wild life, such as a fox, turkeys, geese, toads, and a hawk. We had a lovely visit and would certainly visit again! ”

“The views were amazing! Probably could use a full 12 cup coffee pot, but otherwise very happy with our stay!”

“We took our 15 year old for the weekend. We hiked at Giant City SP and found some other location to check out another time. He loved having the games and we enjoyed playing Yahtzee and trivia :). Our 2 small dogs loved the back yard and the area. It’s very quiet and a comfy house. We will be back and since it’s one level, we can bring Grandma too!I loved watching the birds!”

“We really enjoyed the location of this house. It is right on the lake, easy to get to. Dock is shared. Only downfall is kitchen is not well equipped. We rented the whole house, ground level and upper level, plenty of room then for all 16 of us. Don't know if I would like having some else staying above though, even though you can lock stairway on both sides. Could be noise factor then of hearing footsteps above you. (As someone else said in review). House is as pictured exactly. Other houses are...

“We booked this property twice, one night each way on a road trip. It's very clean, no clutter and the perfect size for one to two families. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has tons of counter space, there are plenty of towels and despite being on a main road, we got a quiet night's sleep. We would definitely book again. ”
