“The unit was attached to a private house but was private with lockable car parking. The breakfast choice was very good and we had enough fresh milk to enjoy cereal, tea and coffee. If you like to use a face washer you should include one in your luggage.”

The location is also excellent—just minutes from Mansfield’s convenient amenities, including IGA, K-Hub (Kmart), Mansfield Pharmacy, and a variety of local shops.”

“A nice family on-the-road stop. Highlights: easy access, quiet through the night, comfortable bed. Lowlights: 2 minute noodles were in the kettle from the last client, and the adjoining brick wall had about 4 or 5 finger-sized holes drilled into the brickwork, which were really a bit odd/creepy. We blocked them up with paper in case they were cameras? More likely just nail holes for artwork, although a bit low for that… but surely there’s a reasonable explanation. “The room was clean and well-maintained and had all the basics. Unfortunately some internal walls are thin (my neighbour had a cough), the common areas are old and worn, and it's on a busy corner. If you're a deep sleeper, go for it.”

“Room was small, but spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed with quality bed linen. Close to the main bar, but perfectly quiet for sleep by 10pm. Easy and friendly check-in. Old-fashioned bathroom down the hall, likewise spotless”

“The property is in desperate need of an update and a thorough clean. To be honest I was shocked when we walked in based on the previous reviews that I had read. Our cabin had a terrible smell. We sprayed it down with air freshener several times. The unit overall wasn’t really clean. The bed mattress looked like it had seen better days. To be honest we couldn’t wait to get out of there. I understand that it’s a motel at a budget rate however cleanliness is top priority. The bathroom window was...

“Cabin was prepared ahead of time with heater running since it was middle of winter which added to the welcoming...nice!!! Great to break away from city life and enjoy the peace. Very tidy, well maintained and comfortable making our stay enjoyable. ”
