“We were there for a Marathon, so we asked for a courtesy late checkout. They gave us 1 extra hour for a $75 charge. Seems they rather take advantage of customers rather than extending a courtesy. Will try to avoid Candelwood Suites in the future”

“Stayed for the Eugene Marathon and it was an excellent choice. Only 2 blocks from the starting line (I never even had to use a porta-potty!). The front desk staff was friendly and offered a to-go bag of marathon-friendly foods (bagel, peanut butter, banana, etc). We had a balcony room that faced a canal and got to see baby ducks, nutria, and a turtle! The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants, a Starbucks, and Market of Choice. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.”
