“Stay was alright. We went during the end of March but seemed that some families were still on spring break as the pool was quite busy all days we were here. The food on site was not that great, and nothing is really walkable since it’s a little secluded. But quick drive will get you some better food. The coffee was pretty good but that’s it, the pastries and the sandwiches they offered were so mediocre and look like they just sit there. The hospitality was lacking. “I recently stayed at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego and had a pleasant but mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the private beach access is a wonderful perk that we truly enjoyed. While we had a good time overall, I found the resort to be a bit overpriced for the level of service provided. The property and guest rooms are starting to show their age and could definitely use some updates to justify the premium price point....

“The location and staff makes this hotel stand out! Right off the boardwalk, walkable to downtown Pacific Beach night life and food or go the other direction for endless beach access. It is an older hotel in structure and room style, with very basic amenities, but clean and extremely sound proof! We would definitely stay again. Thank you Surfer Beach for a wonderful vacation!!”

“Stanza sporca, puzza di muffa in particolare quando si accendeva il condizionatore oltretutto rumoroso. Dopo la prima notte non sono state rifatte le stanze, sono riuscito solamente a farmi dare nuovi asciugamani. Colazione pessima. Personale scortese. Zona tranquilla, unica cosa positiva è il parcheggio gratuito. ”
