“It was comfortable and welcoming. The evening activity was karaoke and had a really welcoming and encouraging vibe. I enjoyed talking with the other guests from around the world. This hostel was mellow and I got a great night sleep. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach!
One downside is that you can’t park overnight in the Belmont lot across the street. I didn’t notice the signs and paid a hefty towing fee. My own fault. ”
“Loved the stay . Great place but expensive. Could do better with food service. Staff was excellent but evidently due to the food being brought in from outside restaurant , breakfast took awhile . Would still stay there again though.

“The location of the Hampton was good. The hotel has very recently been renovated so everything is in a new condition.
The staff were very attentive, especially Matt who ensured I was booked into an appropriate room per my preferences.
They offer a good breakfast, perhaps a few more offerings for busy periods would be good. Suggestion would be pre sliced fruit bowls or omelettes made to order.
I cannot fault this hotel, so much so I came back on the tail end of my visit to San Diego for another...
