“We really enjoyed the whole vibe. The bar was a bit pricey, but has an amazing feel. It served us very well as a home base in our stay in Galena, and had us within short drives to all the places we wanted to visit. Potosi, Dubuque, Effegy Mounds and of course downtown Galena. ”

“We went in August. The alpine slide, zipline, mountain biking are all right outside the property. We bought the tickets at the property itself (not upfront online). There wasn’t much difference between the onsite price and the online price. Monday through Thursday, they have an unlimited alpine slide pass, which would be nice to get if you are there during those days of the week. I know some people have commented that this property “badly needs renovation”. I don’t necessarily agree with that....
