“First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. “This was a great location for our first time to Lake Anna. There were many restaurants to choose from close by, and we chartered a boat cruise (Sunshine Swan) at the nearby marina. The hot tub was wonderful. There were 3 adults, and we all had our own room and bathroom. Super quiet neighborhood, and the hosts were great communicators. Would stay there again. ”

“So much of this trip was ideal. From attentive communication to easy check-in to a gorgeous setting, we appreciated it all. Take care with the driveway as rain has washed some small places away. Slow and steady. Location is ideal for a quick trip to Charlottesville or Shenendoah National Park. The restaurant on nearby Lydia mountain has solid offerings and rockstar patio views. “Very well done and super clean studio in a historical building. Great location to Old Rag and trails on the East side of Shenandoah. Coffee and breakfast right down the road and decent restaurants within a 20 minute drive. ”

“The house was very clean and functional with good, useful spaces. Waterfront was okay, though the bottom near the shore was mucky - wear swim shoes (which you should in any lake). Could use water stairs. Community was nice as were all the people we encountered. The clubhouse restaurant was very nice. The golf course bar was pleasant. Very near supermarket and Walmart. Overall, a very pleasant stay.”
