“Honestly we were only inside for sleeping. We spent the entire time out on either the deck or on the screened in porch. My mom called the screened in part her little tree house, because it felt more like being in the trees due to how the property sits. Even though all the beautiful oaks & magnolia trees block a full view of the lake from the porches, you only have to wander over to the pavilion, fire pit or dock to take in it’s beauty. “I’ve stayed in this hotel a few times every time was good until now. This time was horrible. Wasted a lot of money because they would not refund and we didn’t even stay, found somewhere else. I had 2 rooms, out of the first 2 rooms both rooms had stains on the bedding and cigarette burn holes in the sheets, the sink was constantly running in one room, the bath tub was running in the other which was hot water and the bathroom was humid the tub was moldy from the constant running hot water, the...

“The room was very clean. Staff were so cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Beds were comfortable. What more do you need. The only thing that may have been inconvenient was that the tv didn’t have a guide. You just had to guess what you wanted to watch. But why whine about something so silly. I just think maybe if they see this they might think about asking the tv service to provide it. 5 stars”

“Our room flooded from the upstairs I was told I’d be refunded for atleast one night. I was not, it happed at 3 am my birth certificate was ruined as well as my passport. I was transferred down here for work so that’s why we had an extended stay and so much of the important stuff I brought was ruined! I had insurance on the room and I still haven’t received a refund.”
