Hotel a Defiance

“Hotel itself was clean. The pool had broken stairs on the ladder. Informed the front desk and the next morning it was closed so couldn’t use it again on our stay. Paid for breakfast ahead on our stay. Breakfast was decent tasting. Waited for toast to come until after our meal was cold and almost done and the toast was dry and cold with 1 slice which seamed odd.”

“Booked this for our daughter and grandkids. Room smelled like stale smoke and musty. They were on the first floor away from the pool so it wasn’t because of the pool. The staff was very nice checking them in though.”

“There was no one there when we arrived. We waited in the lobby for 10 to 15 minutes and someone finally came in. Went to the room and it wasn't even cleaned. The pillows were on the floor, the pillow cases were laying on the bed. She gave us a new room. I just don't know how a room here with a king bed gets a 9.2 excellent rating on expedia. We have been traveling a little lately and 2 out of 4 supposed excellent hotels were not very good. ”

“Somewhat. Couple machines don’t work, but other than that it’s pretty quiet, peaceful, and clean.”

“Overall, the hotel was clean. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. I have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting family. My complaint this visit was no housekeeping services over the weekend. We had to go to front desk to request clean towels, trash bags and toilet paper. I do believe that the hotel has changed owners..may be the difference??”

“Red light on phone blinking constantly was a big distraction. Blower fan on the hvac ran constantly and very loud, we had it set on auto . There was no coffee maker in the room or a working clock or alarm clock. For a Wyndham facility seems pretty cheap.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful. Towels were terrible not absorbent enough except for the large bath towels.”
