I've stayed at this hotel I believe 2 or 3 times before but in the single typical hotel rooms all of which have been good quality for the price. This time I got one of their two room "suites" so a friend and I could stay together and the room was far from a "suite". Furniture was dingy, dirty, and beat up, the carpet had what i'm assuming was a baking soda type stain, my bedroom main dresser had a broken drawer, the shower head was super loose and leaking water at the pipe connection to the point i had to hand tightening it to stop most of the leak and worst of all the shower/tub had standing water when taking a shower! I notified the front desk person the next morning about all of this and the only thing they did was tighten the shower head more...maybe. The bathroom linens felt stale like they had been in the room for quite some time. Needless to say this was the most disappointing stay I've had at this hotel and at a much higher cost.
Bed was clean, but pillows too soft for me at least and we stayed thursday night through monday and only cleaning/changeout...we thought we'd get one more at least. It's not the easiest hotel to find but its in a good location. I don't know if there's been major staffing changes since i last stayed here (probably a year or two) but I hope things improve although can't say i'll opt for the double room "suite" again.
