“We have just returned home after a 2 week stay at Milford House which we highly recommend. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and everything we could have possibly needed was provided, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The house is in a convenient location, only a minute or two's walk from the centre of the village. A particular highlight was the bedroom in the roof and the sounds of the sheep and cows in the fields nearby! We enjoyed staying in Tideswell...

“Very comfortable cottage for our family stay, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were really cosy, lovely and clean everywhere. The village is gorgeous and the cottage is right at the centre of it, lots of options for food too. ”

View from back of cottage spoilt by messy and junk strewn garden. Nice location with good pubs in village that did good food, just check what days they open.”

“We had a wonderful stay, the staff were very welcoming, the room comfortable and well appointed, even down to a dog bowl being available. The breakfast bag was very welcome, as well as a coffee machine for the morning. We'll hopefully be back sometime!”

“Lovely clean room, and comfortable bed. The bar area was nice with a lot of choice. We ate at the restaurant- food was lovely but the service was poor. After we had our starter, it took over an hour for our mains to arrive. Nobody came to check on us or apologise for the delay. I had to grab a passing barman to ask for more drinks and after being there an hour and a quarter, chase up our mains. Such a shame because the food was very tasty but I wouldn’t eat there again ”
