“The hotel is convenient to the interstate. It’s very clean and well maintained. Very dog friendly with lots of places to walk the dog. Bathroom amenities were nice and there were water dispenses throughout. Breakfast was very good with many choices. The room had useful appliances including fridge, microwave and coffee maker.”

“From approximately 8 PM until around 10:30 PM, we heard doors slamming multiple times, as well as large groups of unsupervised children running through the hallway. We called the front desk a few times, and we were told that our room was next to weighted doors on public bathrooms and conference rooms. “When we are in the Des Moines area we always stay at The Revel. It is clean, comfortable beds and quiet. The bar area is really nice and convenient whether you're having a quick drink before going out or sitting on the patio with the gas fireplace for a night cap. Checkin was super easy and quick. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.”

“I stayed here with my family, and unfortunately, it was not a very pleasant experience. The property looked poorly maintained, especially the landscaping, which appeared like it had not been cut in a very long time. There were cigarette butts all over near the back entrance, and some of the rear door key-access systems did not work. Even worse, one of the doors opened without a key at all, which made us feel very unsafe. Inside, the carpet felt sticky, the hallways were dark, and there were...

“One night stay. Arrived early, no rooms available told to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes watched 2 people check in with none available yet for us. 20 minutes later gal at the desk got us a room. Everything new bright clean. No Issues. Great breakfast. Waited 10 minutes at desk to check out. No one present finally 3 or 4 of the people waiting just left the keys and walked out. 8:30AM the front desk of a sold out hotel and no one present.”
