“One night stay. Arrived early, no rooms available told to wait 30 minutes. After 30 minutes watched 2 people check in with none available yet for us. 20 minutes later gal at the desk got us a room. Everything new bright clean. No Issues. Great breakfast. Waited 10 minutes at desk to check out. No one present finally 3 or 4 of the people waiting just left the keys and walked out. 8:30AM the front desk of a sold out hotel and no one present.”

“Unfortunately, our stay ended before it even began. Shortly after arriving, we found what appeared to be bed bugs in the bed. We immediately took photos and brought them to the front desk. The staff member we spoke with was helpful and acknowledged our concerns, but was unable to issue a refund. We decided to leave for our own peace of mind and called back later that evening because we were told the night staff had the authority to process refunds. “Overall this is a very nice, clean, hotel which was 10 minutes away from our venue. Would have liked more breakfast options, such as turkey or chicken sausage, but no complaints about this hotel. I really liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel is convenient to the interstate. It’s very clean and well maintained. Very dog friendly with lots of places to walk the dog. Bathroom amenities were nice and there were water dispenses throughout. Breakfast was very good with many choices. The room had useful appliances including fridge, microwave and coffee maker.”

“When we are in the Des Moines area we always stay at The Revel. It is clean, comfortable beds and quiet. The bar area is really nice and convenient whether you're having a quick drink before going out or sitting on the patio with the gas fireplace for a night cap. Checkin was super easy and quick. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.”
